Abstract

The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Surabaya State University (UNESA) is the main axis in developing research and community service services. In this context, an in-depth understanding of LPPM’s operational resources is an important key in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the services provided. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the perspective of LPPM UNESA’s operational resources in order to support optimal service development, whether it will create new service innovations or develop existing services depending on existing conditions in the field. This research uses quantitative methods. Data was collected through questionnaires from staff of LPPM as an internal resources and service providers, and also we did a document analysis. The research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that technological updates in services at LPPM Unesa have been considered good and up to date, the technology that supports services at LPPM has been able to reach the service needs at LPPM, and technological changes in LPPM services are also considered to have followed technological developments and are considered appropriate in supporting tools. Facilitates services at LPPM and its use is also considered efficient in helping ease service operations.
