Abstract

Stunting is a condition of significantly stunted growth and development of children, causing malnutrition and a potential decline in children’s intelligence. Surabaya Mayor Regulation No 79 of 2022 concerning the accelera-tion of stunting reduction in Surabaya City. In the Lontar village, the reduction rate is still around 30 per cent, leaving 9 stunting sufferers. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyse the Implementation of Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Surabaya City (Study in Lontar Village, Surabaya). This research method is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Van Meter Van Horn’s research focus is related to Setting the Evaluation Focus, Identifying and operationalising Evaluation questions, collecting In-formation, Reporting Meeting Results, conducting follow-up based on evaluation results in the Implementation of Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Surabaya City (Study on Lontar Surabaya Village). Qualitative data analysis. The results of this study analyse and describe the stunting acceleration activities in Lontar urban village as well as obstacles in its implementation that are not felt in this program and this program is in accordance with existing provisions to reduce stunting rates in Surabaya City.
