Abstract

This article describes the procedure for gaining access to study sites through researchers’ narrative inquiry investigations. The procedure included the researcher holding three meetings with student and teacher participants, with the help of the school administrator, to explain the research project that had been ethically approved by the Human Research Ethics Review Board, go over informed consent, and hand out consent forms. The author contends that these findings and discussions in this project offer a specific illustration of how to describe the procedure for obtaining research locations so that students can apply them in their methodology section final projects. They are also very likely to be helpful for researchers in Indonesia in particular and researchers worldwide in general.
