- Abstract
Verbal bullying is a persistent issue that can occur unknowingly in public settings and become habitual. It is the most prevalent form of bullying, and schools are not exempt. Students often report being targeted for verbal bullying based on appearance, socioeconomic status, or even parental names. This study investigates the effectiveness of an educational game called “Monocard” (inspired by Monopoly flashcards) in mitigating verbal bullying among students at SDN Lidah Wetan 2 Surabaya. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D). The findings indicate that Monocard is an effective tool for reducing verbal bullying and fostering student understanding of the importance of using positive language. Additionally, the game format facilitates the retention of learnings related to bullying prevention.
