Welcome to the Proceedings of the UPY-ICCCM International Conference on Education and Social Science (UPINCESS 2024). Education plays a central role in equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to address these global challenges. Through inclusive and quality education, individuals can be developed into innovative and responsible leaders, ready to contribute to their society and environment. Education also plays an important role in raising awareness about global issues and promoting international cooperation. On the other hand, social sciences offer critical insights into the social, economic, and political dynamics underlying the global crisis. Research in the social sciences can uncover the root causes of inequality, conflict, and environmental degradation and identify effective interventions to address these problems. Social science also helps in understanding how public policies can be designed and implemented to support sustainable development and community well-being. Therefore, the theme for 2024 is ““The Role of Education and Social Sciences in Facing the Global Crisis”.
