In the era of integrated media, the broadcasting and hosting arts profession should focus on the comprehensive qualities of media professionals and their ability to adapt to the multimedia environment. This requires a fusion of multiple disciplines and dimensions, emphasizing the importance of practical education. This article combines the segment settings, and platform data of the “2023 CCTV Host Competition” to explore the practical education of broadcasting and hosting arts in the era of integrated media. It aims to achieve the transition from teaching to nurturing, in order to cultivate new media professionals who possess knowledge of various industries and have a global perspective in communication.
