Abstract

Ideological and political education plays an important role in cultivating students’ professional ethics and political literacy, and is a part of higher education work. The development of new media has a significant impact on ideological and political education, mainly manifested in teaching methods, teaching resources, and teaching concepts. In order to cultivate compound talents with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, this article takes the innovative path of ideological and political education in universities from the perspective of new media as the research object, clarifies the significance of ideological and political innovation, improves teaching quality, cultivates student learning interests, and updates teaching models.
