Website: https://lewis.unimus.ac.id/health-sciences-midwifery/ On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to The 2nd Lawang Sewu International Symposium on Health Sciences:Midwifery, which was held virtually on November 28, 2023, in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. This symposium was organized by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Muham- madiyah University Semarang. Lecturers, professionals, researchers, and students are invited to this symposium. After the presentation and rigorous review, twenty-one papers were selected and published in Atlantis Press conference proceedings. The papers in this proceeding focus on the topics multi-field studies including premarital and preconception, antenatal, childbirth, postpartum, newborn baby, infant and under 5 years children, contraception, perimenopause, health policy, and health promotion. These papers are extremely valuable for both academics and medical practitioners in expanding their understanding. Thank you to everyone who helped carry out the symposium and publish these proceedings. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all symposium attendees and presenters, particularly the keynote speakers.
