Abstract

The application of information technology has been used in people’s economic transaction activities such as digital payment systems. Along with the increasing number of digital wallets in Indonesia that use digital payment technology as a successor to electronic money, Bank Indonesia has released a standard for using the QRIS code. This study aims to address consumer behavioral interest in QRIS adoption. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), whose main constructs are Performance expectancy, Effort expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions—all of which are indicated to have an influence on digital payments using QRIS—is one theory that can demonstrate behavioral intention to use this technology. The approach is a combination of sequential explanatory design techniques, which means that qualitative and quantitative research approaches are combined one after the other. Partial least squares structural equality modeling is used for data analysis in the quantitative approach (PLS-SEM 3.0). Purposive sampling is used in the sampling process, and the sample size in Java is 351. The tests’ outcomes demonstrated that four hypotheses.
