Abstract

Seeing the variety of visual arts created by today’s young generation, they tend to be freer in exploring ideas and thoughts personally. This visual manifestation is greatly influenced by daily life activities that cannot be separated from gadgets. Fine art currently involves cyberspace which influences thinking in creating work. The works produced from this are global in nature and there are no longer any barriers to visual manifestation. between parts of the world is relatively the same. It can be concluded that in this year’s era, trends, fashions and trends tend to be the same in the world. Visual variations that tend to be stereotyped will certainly have an impact on the loss of idioms as a richness of local cultural diversity. To restore it again, so that efforts to explore local cultural diversity again become the goal and motivation of the younger generation in creating work, it needs to be strengthened again to become the potential for new innovations in work. The potential in this research is expected to build identity again without abandoning the novelty and contemporary aspects of the work. In this research, visual form problems will also be identified which are the result of the original visual vocabulary of local Central Javanese and East Javanese idioms. The majority of the works produced are paintings from the 2020s generation.
