- Abstract
Startups are vital for economic growth, creating jobs, and fostering innovation. This study examines the user acceptance of a financing readiness application designed to assist startups in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By focusing on the financing readiness dimensions crucial for startups, this research integrates the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT-2) model to evaluate user acceptance. Results indicate that users’ behavioral intentions significantly influence actual application use. However, performance expectancy and social influence show a negative, insignificant impact on behavioral intention. Effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit exhibit positive but insignificant influences. In addition, this study shows that the use of gender, age, and experience variables cannot moderate the variables used. Enhancements in application features could further support startups in meeting SDGs by improving financing readiness.
