- Abstract
This paper used the modified LMDI decomposition method of the stochastic frontier production function and the Tapio decoupling model to empirically analyze the driving factors and decoupling relationship of road freight carbon emissions in Shaanxi Province from 2000 to 2021. The results show that the technical efficiency of the road freight industry fluctuates wildly, which is positively correlated with the urbanization rate, the proportion of grade highways, and the industry concentration, and negatively associated with environmental regulation and the degree of opening to the outside world. Based on the above results, some suggestions are put forward to optimize the energy supply and consumption structure, improve the energy use efficiency, adjust the industrial structure, and improve the technical efficiency of the road freight industry in Shaanxi Province to promote the green and high-quality development of the road freight industry.
