Abstract

This research aims to illustrate and analyse the policy of the local government of the Poso district in the prevention of acts of terrorism by using qualitative descriptive methods. Data obtained by using interviews and library and document studies. The results showed that the local government of Poso district made a policy of preventing terrorism action by forming a Harmony village, and then the local government of Poso Regency formed the early awareness Forum of the district level Society, then the local government of Poso district implemented Awareness activities that contradict the values of Pancasila, and the local government of Poso Regency provides social assistance to the poor and family terrorism prisoners and the Indonesian Alliance of Peace together with the government The district of Poso provides entrepreneurial training to former terrorism convicts. Based on the results of the research, the local government of Poso district made a policy that was handed down in local regulations on counter-terrorism in the Poso district.
