The 2nd International Conference on Science and Technology (ICOSAT) 2017 was held at the Discovery Hotel & Convention in Ancol, August 10, 2017. This year, the seminar raised the topic of "Promoting Sustainable Agriculture, Food Security, Energy, and Environment Through Science and Technology for Development."

According to the Dean of FST UIN Jakarta, Dr. Agus Salim M.Si, the selection of this theme is based on the expectation of scientific and technological science's contribution in promoting agriculture, supply security, energy and a sustainable environment.

The conference welcomed researchers and lecturers from various national and global universities.
