Welcome to the 4th International Conference on English Language Teaching (ICON-ELT 2023). This year’s theme is “The Future of ELT in the Digital Age: Issues and Innovations” and with its 20 sub-themes. This conference explores the challenges and opportunities of teaching English in the digital era. In addition, the sub-themes carry issues related to ELT curriculum, teacher professional development, technology- enhanced language learning, and applied linguistics. The conference provides forums for discussions and collaboration among researchers, lecturers, teachers, and graduate students in Indonesia and beyond, and allows them to share best practices, experiences, research, and innovations in teaching English.
