Proceedings of the International Conference on Education Technology (ICoET 2019)
This proceeding includes peer-reviewed research papers from the International Conference on Education Technology (ICoET 2019, web http://icet.fip.unp.ac.id/), held by Department of Education Technology, Faculty of Education of Universitas Negeri Padang in collaboration with Graduate School. This conference that was conducted in Padang, Indonesia, on July 25-27, 2019.
The conference was a response to rapid changes and development of digital transformation have significant impact on Education. University should become a center of excellence where academics can inform and discuss the result of their studies and classroom best practices, and share ideas. For this purpose the International Conference on Educational Technology invited researchers, teachers/lecturers, and students to come as presenters or participants. This year theme was “The Trends of Digital Transformation in Education to Face Society 5.0”.
ICoET 2019 received 104 manuscripts, and 63 submissions had been accepted by our reviewers and the press. All manuscripts were reviewed by appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Conference Committee, who gave detailed comments and-if the submission was accepted the authors would submit a revised version that considered this feedback. All papers were reviewed using a double-blind review process. The Committees of ICoET 2019 invested great efforts in reviewing the papers submitted to the conference and organizing the sessions to enable the participants to gain maximum benefit.
We would like to express our best gratitude to Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D.; and Dean of FIP UNP, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alwen Bentri, M.Pd. for their tremendous support. Furthermore, we would like to thank Dr. Dr. H.C. Rolf Burghardt Gennrich (TVET RAVTE, Thailand), Prof. Dr. Ismunandar (Director General of Learning and Students Affairs, of Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Paulina Pannen, M.Ls (Expert Staff for Academic Affairs of Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Hamdan (UPSI Malaysia), and Wilfredo Herrera Libunao, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Philippines) as the invited speakers for their contribution and ideas shared in the conference.
