The organizing committee warmly welcome you to the 2023 International Conference on Information Technology and Engineering (ICITE 2023), held on September 26th, 2023, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia virtually. In the era of globalization and technological advancement, science and technology have played an important role in changing the mindset and life of modern society. Science and technology provide many benefits to humans, such as improved quality of life, ease of communication and access to information, and increased efficiency in various aspects of life. However, advances in science and technology also bring various negative impacts to modern society. Such as increased unemployment due to automation and environmental damage, and we are also seeing an increase in addiction to technology such as online gaming and social media, which can affect mental health and social relationships. Therefore, it is important to understand and examine the impact of science and technology on modern society. To support this, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta will hold an international conference and Call for Papers at the 2023 International Conference on Information Technology and Engineering (ICITE 2023) “The Impact of Science and Technology on Modern Society” on September 26, 2023. On behalf of the ICITE 2023, we would like to thank all the authors who contributed to this conference.
