- Abstract
Media ecology has been closely associated with media education for a long time in western society. In today’s age of increasing globalization and media convergence, the concept of mediated global public sphere may have a far more influential effect on global public affairs and political actions. This article examines the development of global public sphere, especially under the impact of mass media on public awareness, and points out possible influences.
