Website: http://www.ichssr.com We are pleased to present this Proceedings from the 2024 10th International Conference on Humanities and Social Science Research (ICHSSR 2024), which took place in Xiamen, China, during April 26 to 28, 2024. The conference was organized as usual with keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations, academic discussion, among others, attracting about 250 delegates around the world. The technical program started with keynote speeches made by four renowned experts. Among them, Prof. Simon K.S. Cheung (Hong Kong Metropolitan University, China) performed a speech on the topic Open and Innovative Learning: Trends in Students’ Use of Open Educational Resources. Over the past years, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and learning have undergone various degrees of transformation to live with different social distancing requirements. Open and innovative learning practices are devised, such as the use of open educational resources or OER. He reported in his presentation a four-year longitudinal study on the university students’ use of OER, based on surveys conducted in a university in Hong Kong over the past five years which span from the pre-pandemic years to the present new normal era. And the research also points out that the pandemic-driven open and innovative learning seems to be irreversible in the future. The conference was filled with academic atmosphere with heated discussion. The conference was indeed very successful! National and international leading scientists, researchers, and industrial elites have gathered at ICHSSR 2024 and created a stimulating scientific atmosphere for themselves and for the young scholars. ICHSSR 2024 not only promoted the development and application in the fields of and related to humanities and social science but also fostered the industrial cooperation of academic achievements. The Proceedings of ICHSSR 2024 covers a broad range of topics concerned with researches in humanities and social science, including anthropology, linguistics, multidisciplinary studies, occupational science, sociology, information science, psychology, teaching practice, educational innovation, etc. It thus serves as a great reference for researchers and practitioners in relevant disciplines and industries. We would like to thank all the authors, speakers, organizers, and the conference committee members, who helped in various ways and contributed in a very significant manner to the success of the conference.
