- Abstract
Confronted with the challenges of “stigmatization” and stereotyping, female doctoral groups engage in the self-construction of their media image and identity recognition through new media platforms. From the perspective of media construction these groups authentically portray their real-life experiences. They showcase non-traditional images emphasizing self-worth and social responsibility through visual representations, topics, and discourse frameworks, thereby cultivating a strong self-identity while embracing diverse societal recognition.
