- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of parents in the use of media online learning for special school students in the Sidoarjo district. This survey method uses a qualitative approach and a case study survey. Research data obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was done through data reduction, presentation of data, and conclusions. Extend the observations to increase persistence and triangulation to verify the validity of the data. The results of this study include the role of parents in online learning of media use during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Sidoarjo Regency Special School. The role of the parent as a learning companion of the child, the role of the parent as the mediator of the child, and the role of the parent as the motivation of the child.
