- Abstract
Social media is online media that supports social interaction. The rapid development of social media is now widely used for communication purposes in various fields, one of which is education. The presence of social media can give freshness to learning with diverse students. Indications of modern education, including all students with different cultures and characteristics. The rapid use of social media in daily life greatly influences the communication patterns carried out in education, especially between teachers and students. For this reason, a study is needed related to the use of social media and its effects on learning. The purpose of this study is to increase the insight of the parties involved in education and can be followed up, such as research to reduce the negative influence of the use of social media in learning.
