Abstract

The main objectives of English teaching reform is to change the traditional teacher-centered teaching model and construct a new teaching model that can play the leading role of teachers as well as fully reflect the role of students' cognitive subject. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of constructivism teaching and learning theory, and combining with the characteristics of traditional Chinese culture teaching, this paper designs a kind of student-oriented and teacher-oriented English teaching model, which aims to improve students' enthusiasm for English learning and proficiency of English language. This paper also hopes to provide some ideas for English teaching reform.
