- Abstract
Funded by major national scientific research and equipment development project, the development of multi-channel transient electromagnetic system is led by the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It consists of pseudo random coded waveforms and high power transmitter with measurement function, multi-channel array receiver, high rate data transmission and master system, and electromagnetic imaging software with multiple signal stacks. It can be used to detect electrical structure at 4000 meters depth range. In this paper, we introduced the system's composition, methods and principles, integration scheme, and then the integrated test results for the multi-channel transient electromagnetic system conducted at Cao-si-yao molybdenum mines were given.
