In recent years, with the rapid development of economy in our country, the reserves of latent resource declined sharply: China's solid mineral resources have entered the stage of deep exploit now, so when we research high power, high performance geophysical detection equipment, it is important to seek new theories, new methods and new technologies in geophysical exploration. Moreover, due to the exploitation activities of underground resource increasing, the environment of human survival has changed: geological disasters occur frequently, threaten people's lives and property security. The major challenge that we are facing is how to protect the Earth, which is closely related to human beings, with the rapid development of the economy. In order to promote the communication, improve the detection level of engineering geophysics and provide an extensive communicate learning platform for those researchers engaged in scientific research, technology development and application of product in that field, the Seventh International Conference on Environmental and Engineering Geophysics (ICEEG 2016) will be held from 26 to 29 June in Beijing, China.
