- Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between carbon emissions and several socio-economic factors in E7 countries, employing the Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) method. The examined factors include population, renewable energy consumption, net trade, and greenhouse gases. We employ the FMOLS technique to estimate the long-term relationship between carbon emissions and these variables. The results reveal significant findings. Specifically, renewable energy consumption exhibits substantial impacts on carbon emissions. Additionally, population, net trade, and greenhouse gases also demonstrate significant associations with carbon emissions. These findings provide valuable insights into the dynamics of carbon emissions in E7 countries, suggesting policy implications for sustainable development and environmental conservation efforts.
