Regional development is basically a process of change that is carried out for the better through planned efforts. The purpose of the Dean Forum of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication itself is to discuss important matters such as the development of the faculty of Da’wah and communication which includes AD/ART, work programme and recommendations). Various studies can be done in this forum such as to sharpen the language about the improvement of the quality of graduates, discussing the certification of professions and graduates SKPI, curriculum and implementation of curricula MBKM, discuss about scholarship, human resource and Association of Professions and Prodi in the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication as well as forming the Institute of Professional Certification (LSP) at the level of Islamic religious colleges in particular. Through the implementation of this FORDAKOM, each college can form a network of inter-collegiate cooperation such as competition, research activities, publication and scholarship activities of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communications both PTKIN and PTKIS. Besides, this forum is a forum where the problems of the faculty of Da’wah and communication can be solved jointly.

A variety of good examples of faculty somewhere can be imitated by faculty elsewhere. This forum also serves as a disseminator of aspirations to influence government policy. To support the successful implementation of these programmes and activities and improve the efficiency and effectiveness as well as the continuity of the development of the Faculty of Religious Affairs and Communications, it is necessary for various input from all sides to assess the extent to which the objectives of the Programme and the Planned Activities are directed in the achievement of the targets. To this end, a periodic collection of data is carried out that is collected for access analysis of the performance of each university present through the integration of the data as a material and consideration to take policy action quickly and accurately. However, what is not implement the International Conference as a form of commitment in holding firm the research tridharma such as the results of research and public dedication of the faculty of Da’wah and communication.

Our conference presents three international speakers from various countries to explore Da’wah and Communication Disruption Era 5.0.

In our records, this conference has been attended by 33 presenters representing 35 state Islamic universities in Indonesia. These presenters come from 33 provinces in Indonesia. Of course, this event would not be successful without the support of the committee, sponsors and support from various parties.

We hope that the articles presented in the 1th BIS ICDCDE 2024 provide new insights for participants and for a wider audience, stimulate new research paths, and open up opportunities for research collaboration between institutions.
