National language is the most typical symbol that distinguishes it from other nations, the most important carrier of national culture, and the key link of national identity. Therefore, mother tongue education plays an important role in the inheritance of national language and culture. This paper investigates the status quo of mother tongue education in Mongolian schools in Ningcheng, analyzes its gains and losses, and puts forward some suggestions.
