- Abstract
In the century of the rise of the travel industry, many related industries are also on the rise, and the insurance industry is one of them. The analysis of tourists or customers to predict or determine whether they will buy insurance is the general context of this paper. Predictions can be found everywhere in life. This article focuses on travel insurance forecasting. Eight non-potential factors are used as independent variables to examine the influence on whether to purchase travel insurance. The paper starts with comparative analysis, factor analysis, and logistic regression for analysis as well as prediction. It was found that there was a relatively high positive correlation between whether a traveler purchased travel insurance and the traveler's historical flight factors. Whether or not the traveler had flown abroad was also a significant influencing factor.
