- Abstract
With the use of the visual analysis tool CiteSpace software, the paper makes a statistical analysis of the literature related to “conceptual metaphor translation” from the dimensions of the journal volume, high-frequency keywords and emerging theme words. It presents the current situation and trend of domestic conceptual metaphor translation research in the past decade. The results show that the study has three characteristics: the study of conceptual metaphor translation continues to rise; the construction of translation theory is widely applied to translation studies in many fields; the combination of conceptual metaphor and multi theory has become a major trend of translation research in the future under the guidance of Conceptual Metaphor Theory. Some suggestions are put forward such as the development of multilingual comparative studies and multi-domain discourse studies based on Conceptual Metaphor Theory.
