Abstract

This paper focuses on the characteristics of dance as an art category. It advocates the appropriate amount of reading and appreciation of Chinese classical poetry in dance teaching, and adds small exercises that express verses with dance movements, giving full play to the role of "sense". It is easier for students to grasp the relationship between dance movements and the expression of dance themes.
