- Abstract
This study investigates the efficacy of role-play techniques in enhancing students’ speaking skills, focusing on their perceptions and interest. A sample of 50 eighth-grade students participated in the research conducted through a questionnaire. The findings reveal a positive perception among students regarding the use of role-play techniques, with 98.78% expressing interest in utilizing them for improving their speaking abilities. These results highlight the potential of role-play techniques as an engaging and effective method for enhancing speaking skills among students.
