- Abstract
This study reveals the emergence mechanism of employee deviant behaviors from the job stress. In particular, this study investigated the moderating role of emotional stability and conscientiousness. Based on data collected from 318 employees of three enterprises in Guizhou province and Hubei province. The result shows that: (1) job stress is positively related to employee deviant behaviors; (2) emotional stability negative moderates the relationship between job stress and employee deviant behaviors; (3) conscientiousness negative moderates the relationship between job stress and employee deviant behaviors.
