- Abstract
Based on the Path-goal theory, this paper explores the moderating role of achievement motivation on the relationship between transformational leadership and service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. Empirical research is using paired questionnaire method based on the employees of service industry of China. There are 296 valid questionnaires. The results are as follows: (1) Transformational leadership has positive correlation relationship with service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. (2) Individual-oriented achievement motivation played a moderating role between transformational leadership and service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. (3) Social-oriented achievement motivation played a moderating role between transformational leadership and service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior.
