Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss how to use MOOC to improve the teaching quality of contemporary sports dance and to promote students' ability on the morality, intelligence and physique. The development status of MOOC in college physical education courses was investigated by means of literature and questionnaire survey. Taking this as a goal, we analyzed the advantages and possible difficulties of MOOC lessons in the application of PE dance courses, and also put forward the related solutions. The conclusion is that MOOC can improve students' theoretical level in dancesport courses. It is feasible to use mixed teaching modes (online and offline) in dancesport courses.
