- Abstract
The Storyteller’s Secret, a signature work by Indian author Sejal Badani, features female characters, beginning with the protagonist’s grandmother, “Amisha,” who persistently seek “freedom,” especially autonomy within marriage and family life. Despite numerous challenges, it is undeniable that with the continuous advancement of domestic feminist theories, the strength of Indian women’s fight for freedom and autonomy will increasingly grow with the changing times.
