Hosted virtually, this conference was successfully organized by the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Multimedia University, Malaysia. The conference which carried the theme “Empowering Creative Solutions for Sustainable Future” brought together research scholars, educators, practitioners, design entrepreneurs and fellow students to share and exchange their research experiences and results on various aspects of arts, design and creative multimedia technologies. The conference took place on July 26–28, 2023. ICCM 2023 was one of the six co-located conferences under the Digital Futures International Congress (DIFCON 2023), organized by Multimedia University, Malaysia. DIFCON 2023 provided a multidisciplinary platform for gathering scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds to disseminate ongoing research related to the digital futures of our society, following the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. Papers in this proceedings are based on six conference tracks, namely Interdisciplinary Design and Application, Creative Industry, Media Expression and Creative Technology, Art and Design Theory and Human Centric Design. The aspiration is that this endeavor will pave the way to increased global cooperation in research and applications across all domains associated with creative multimedia.
