While the determinants of youth work in the agricultural sector show that gender, marital status, and education affect the decision of youth to work in the agricultural sector. The conclusion is that there are only three predictor variables that significantly effect on the decision of youth to work in the agricultural sector with an alpha of 5 percent. Meanwhile, the age, position in the household, wages, number of household members, and participation in the pre-employment card program variables have no significant impact in their decisions.
