Conference name: Proceedings of the 3rd Universitas Lampung International Conference on Social Sciences (ULICoSS 2022)
Date: 6-7 September 2022

Website: https://ulicoss.unila.ac.id/ The Institute for Research and Community Services of Universitas Lampung was honored to host the ThirdUniversitas Lampung International Conference on Social Sciences (ULICoSS), which was held in Bandar Lampung City on the Indonesian island of Sumatra on September 6–7, 2022. On behalf of the 3rdULICoSS 2022 Organizing Committee, we would like to send our sincere congratulations to all attendees and presenters in this event. This event adopted a hybrid working model, combining an in-person event with an online meeting via Zoom. As has been widely stated in the literature, a number of reports and papers have examined the pandemic’s negative effects, with the majority of work to date focusing on COVID-19’s negative impact on psychological well-being. Thus, social adjustment is required for resilience in order to adapt to and change in the face of adversity. In other words, it is clear that social adjustment, which includes the specific behaviors and abilities that people use to deal with daily problems and adapt to changing circumstances, is critical for global resilience today. Therefore, this international conference, which featured five invited keynote speakers from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Indonesia, and Japan, was intended to serve as a forum for the dissemination of specific alternative and significant breakthroughs in rapid social adjustments for global resilience, with an emphasis on global society, social welfare and development, and innovative communication, among other topics. We would like to thank the members of the organizing committee for their daily efforts to ensure the success of this event, as well as the reviewers for their commitment to reviewing submissions. This conference would not be possible without the authors’ outstanding submissions. We appreciate the efforts of all authors and their participation in the 3rd ULICoSS 2022. It is a delight for us to support the most innovative research and development in the social sciences. Moreover, it is our fervent hope that this volume of proceedings will become an invaluable resource for researchers worldwide. We apologize to all attendees and presenters for any issues that might have occurred during the conference. We will continuously aspire to achieve even greater success in the future international conferences. Finally, this conference was a huge success, and we were thrilled to host it. We look forward to seeing you at the 4th ULICoSS 2023. Iwan Sulistyo
