Welcome to the Sixty Seventh TEFLIN International Conference in collaboration with the Ninth of International Conference on English Language and Teaching 2021 (ICOELT-9 2021). It is an Annual conference hosted by the Association of the Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia (TEFLIN) and English Department of Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Padang. The Committee is pleased to present the Proceedings of the 67th TEFLIN & the 9th ICOELT 2021 held at Faculty of Languages and Arts Universitas Negeri Padang, Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia on September 9-11, 2021. The organizing committee believes and trusts the editors and reviewers have done the best based on the spirit of collegiality reviewed papers, provided feedback and now present the proceedings published by Atlantis Press.

The 67 TEFLIN & the 9 ICOELT 2021 conference aims to bring together leading researchers, scholars, teachers, and students from all over the world to share innovations and new trends realized in their experiences and their current research results and learn from each other on several aspects. The theme of the conference is “English Language Teaching and Learning beyond the Border: Humanity, Innovation, Technology, and Communication”. This general theme is intended to accommodate various interests and expertise in the field of ELT, and Linguistic and Literary Studies.

We would like to express our best gratitude to Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D.; and Dean of FBS UNP, Prof. Dr. Ermanto, M.Hum. for their tremendous support.
