- Abstract
The development of technology is running very rapidly in all aspects of education, including in the world of education. Technology and education today are two things that cannot be separated and go hand in hand. This study aims to outline the urgency of using e-book-based problem-based learning teaching materials specifically in civic education. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The respondents in this study were students who took civic education courses at Sriwijaya University. The results showed that the use of e-book-based teaching materials is important to be developed in civic education learning. Furthermore, this teaching material should be designed with a problem-based learning-based basis to make it more interesting for students. Problem-based learning will build the critical spirit of students and increase students’ understanding of the material provided.
