With strong organization team, dependable reputation, and wide sponsors globally, SSHA 2023 exists as a leading annual conference of informatics engineering and information science for all the related researchers at home and abroad. This Conference is considered to accommodate discussion among researchers in the field of social sciences and humanities and arts as a scientific forum. Therefore, the invited keynote presentations were provided especially to show the contribution of scholars and experts in the world of social sciences and humanities and arts toward research and knowledge sharing. Professor Yao Song (Sichuan University, China),whose research areas are Digital Humanities and Computational Arts, shared her study Digital Humanities: The Role of Computational Method in Arts Studies with us. In her presentation, Digital Humanities (DH) was defined as new ways of doing scholarship that involve collaborative, transdisciplinary, and computationally engaged research, teaching, and publishing. It brings digital tools and methods to the study of the humanities with the recognition that the printed word is no longer the main medium for knowledge production and distribution. By producing and using new applications and techniques, DH makes new kinds of teaching possible, while at the same time studying and critiquing how these impact cultural heritage and digital culture. SSHA 2023 involved about 190 papers from various topics including Cultural Change and Transformation, History and Social Development, Culture and National Condition, Language Studies and Development, Intercultural Communication, etc. The selected papers were checked through a rigorous peer-review process, and these papers will be published in the present conference proceedings. We would like to thank the members of reviewers for their kind assistance in reviewing the papers. We would also extend our best gratitude to keynote speakers for their invaluable contribution and worthwhile ideas shared in the Conference. Last but not the least is our appreciation to Advances in Social Science, Education and Humanities Research for every process its members have conducted to make this volume published.
