A Study on New Methods of Breaststroke Teaching in Colleges and Universities —Taking Baotou Teachers' College as an Example

- Abstract
Swimming is one of the most popular elective programs in college physical education at colleges and universities, especially in breaststroke. However, the teaching quality and teaching efficiency of the breaststroke are not high. The main reason for the poor teaching effect is that the teaching methods and means are too dull, they lack positive guidance to students and improperly use targeted teaching methods for the core technical actions. By studying the teaching results of swimming lessons in Baotou Teachers College, we find that the application of targeted teaching methods can greatly shorten the time for students to master breaststroke techniques, effectively improve teaching efficiency and improve the teaching quality of breaststroke.
