Proceedings of the 5th IPMA SENET Project Management Conference (SENET 2019)
The 5th IPMA SENET Project Management Conference - Challenges of Growing Economies, was held in Belgrade, Serbia from 19-21st May 2019.
International Project Management Association - IPMA is a federation of more than 70 Member Associations that develop project management competencies in their geographic areas of influence, interacting with thousands of practitioners and developing relationships with corporations, government agencies, universities, as well as training organisations and consulting companies.
SENET Network aims to promote and facilitate the development of the project management discipline and the project management profession in the regions of East and South-East Europe.
The 5th IPMA SENET Project Management Conference was organised by Serbian Project Management Association – IPMA Serbia.
The Conference goal was to engage the potential of the project management profession to solve challenges of growing economies through exchange of experience and proven practices in project management; knowledge sharing on the latest trends and solutions of project management collected through research and practice; exchange of the newest information about projects in the region, exchange of experience and possibility for planning joint projects.
This Conference was integrative and brought together people from academia, business world, public sector, the non-profit sector and delegates from 18 countries of IPMA Member Associations. Proceedings present the selected results of the newest research with practical implication, considering a wide range of opportunities to apply project management in society and provide economic growth. All submitted papers went through a rigorous double-blind review process and only selected papers were presented at the Conference. Out of that, only the high-quality papers were nominated for the publication.
We believe that the SENET Conference sessions with 196 participants, supported by thematic round tables, have created the foundation for innovations in the society, opportunities for the future regional cooperation and encouraged the development of project management profession in the region.
We are very thankful to the International Project Management Association – IPMA, the Serbian government and academic institutions and companies for the support. We would also like to thank all the authors and reviewers for all their efforts that led to the publication of the SENET Conference proceedings.
