Abstract

The focus of this study is to examine issues related to the theory of clash of civilizations by Samuel P Huntington which is still interesting to debate. Various kinds of writings, both supporting and rejecting his theory, continue to rise. Moreover, if it is associated with the condition of relations between Islam and the West, it is immediately increasingly heating up. Will this Huntington’s thesis be proven? Or is it the opposite? What definitely is interesting from this Huntington’s Clash of Civilizations? What is our attitude and what should we do now? This theme will try to be elaborated in this short article as a preliminary search.
