- Abstract
Taking Jiuzhaigou after the earthquake disaster investigation data and the basis of strong earthquake records, we analyzed the characteristics of earthquake damage and the distribution characteristics of strong ground motion parameter PGA in this paper. The results of the investigation show that the earthquake caused a great loss to Jiuzhaigou county. Some areas have been hit by landslides, such as rock rolling and other disasters. From the analysis of ground motion characteristics, the seismic damage intensity of this earthquake is smaller than that of the other same magnitude. The overall destructive degree is smaller and the ground motion is also attenuated faster.
