Welcome to the National Conference on Next-Generation Sustainable Technologies for Small-Scale Producers (NGST 2022). The purpose of the conference was to bring farmers, scientists, extension agents, and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) together to share ideas about climate adaptation, computers and cyber security, farm justice and food security, planting and harvesting automation, small business innovations, and sustainable farming. The conference will teach next-generation farmers to be better question-askers and create a roadmap that ensures access to sustainable technologies with consideration for affordability and applicability.
