- Abstract
With the constant improvement of the economic system, the country has a higher request to the education, the teaching of English as the important subjects; it has played an important role for the students to master a second language. At the same time, under the form of economic globalization, English is the bridge of communication between countries, so our country attaches great importance to in English. University in the process of English teaching, in order to meet the requirement of social development, constantly to improve English teaching methods, so as to make the students' English comprehensive ability get promoted. General, as a kind of new teaching ideas and its application in college English teaching can improve students' interest in learning English. Therefore, this article in view of the general teaching analysis and its application in English teaching, it serves as a reference for improving the quality of college English teaching.
