Abstract

We elaborate the special deceleration strip design ideas of Yaxi Expressway, put forward the special deceleration strip design plan of Yaxi Expressway. We draw a conclusion that the special deceleration strip of Yaxi Expressway can effectively restrain highway major traffic accidents in the long downhill sections of the mountainous area through the car and wagon ride comfort test on the special deceleration strip.
