- Abstract
This study aims to determine the business approach by using the concept of ecoefficiency in increasing competitive advantage based on the effort of green product. Based on the amount of industrial increase in proportion to the amount of pollution increase resulting from the industrial production process of Azizah, et al (2013), I mean that the use of the concept of ecoefficiency is capable of producing environmentally friendly products and on the other hand to create a competitive advantage for the company. The method used is qualitative case study, for data validity using triangulation test which compared between interview result, observation, and documentation with existing theory. Analyzer used to test the validity of data is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. I find that a business approach is done using one business strategy that is cost leadership. In the calculation of ecoefficiency, the ratio obtained is worth greater than 1 then the company can be said to have been efficient in terms of production and also environmentally and competitively. The results of the analysis are also reinforced by the wastewater treatment system (IPAL) used by companies to reduce the impact of waste generated, as a whole the company has a clean and environmentally friendly green product with the concept of ecoefficiency to increase the company's competitive advantage.
